TAPIMaster® is a third-party CTI solution. This means that one computer (the CTI server) is connected with the telephone switch, generally via USB or Ethernet. A so-called TAPI driver is installed on the server. This is comparable to the driver for a printer except that TAPIMaster® uses the driver to control the PBX and not a printer. The workplace computers are connected to the CTI server. The TAPIMaster® clients allow users to control their telephones.
