Choosing client components

For the standard client, additional telephone books may be installed.

The Outlook telephone book uses local data or data from Exchange. You should definitely install this telephone book if using Outlook, since it is also used for a part of the caller identification feature.

You can use the database connection to create a telephone book from your central database. For this to be possible, the administrator must first configure the database interface on the TAPIMaster® server Only install the database telephone book if your company has a central database. Ask your administrator about this.

There is a new small invisible client. You can use it if only the custom plugin functions will be needed.
